d40 blown engine

Hello my name is Dave and i have just joined, i'm hoping i can get some information so that i can help out a mate of mine. 
  So to the problem my mate has a 2007 d40 navara 2.5 and has blown the engine i have a good zd30 so i want to know if i can fit it to the d40 and if so 
 what sort of modifications etc would need to be done. Thanks

Hey mate, Honestly it wouldn’t fit up to the gearbox it would be a lot of work to make that engine swap fit. I wouldn’t honestly either replace same engine from a different d40. Or scrap the vehicle. Would be less headaches. Never seen or heard of a ZD eng swap into d40.
