So I thought it's a good opportunity to create a spare for off-road.
I'll fit a new one and then remove the existing one and fix the boot & give it a birthday & keep for spare.
Can anyone recommend a good brand of aftermarket CV?
My search returned a pretty wide range of prices - from about $150 to $270....
Is there much difference? Are the cheap ones made of cheese?
Are genuine ones stronger?
My d/s outer CV boot has been buggered for ages. I've lost a lot of grease.

Navlife sell BASCO brand which is pretty good. Sell heaps of these with no issues known to date. We have been selling these for about 3 - 4 years now.

... And to add a question to the OP (because I have the same situation)
Anyone recommend a decent rebuild kit?
(i.e. bellows + steel bands + grease + instructions etc)
